Leading a Unified Response to Child Abuse in Arkansas

Children’s Advocacy Centers of Arkansas (CACar) champions the state’s coordinated response to child abuse by setting standards, aligning systems, and strengthening a statewide network of 18 Child Advocacy Centers (CACs) and 64 Multidisciplinary Teams (MDTs).

Together, we work to ensure that every child receives a consistent, trauma-informed intervention — no matter where they live.

Why a Coordinated Response Matters

With more than 65,000 child abuse hotline calls received each year, an aligned approach is not optional. It's essential.

When a child bravely speaks up, the adults who step in must be prepared, trained, and unified. Through a multi-disciplinary approach within the CAC model, teams works together to ensure children are met with expertise, compassion, and clarity — because what happens next shapes their future.

Support the Teams that Protect Children

Behind every child’s path to safety stands a team of dedicated professionals working together to protect them. They deserve the tools, training, and support to respond with skill, coordination, and care when it matters most.

By investing in CACar and our statewide network, communities across Arkansas help strengthen the systems that protect children, hold offenders accountable, and help young survivors begin to heal.
